- Funeral of Victim of Mule's Kick
Barton, MD., May 6 -- The funeral of Charles Berry, aged 68, who died Tuesday evening at the Miners' Hospital, Frostburg, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal church here, the Rev. F.I. Mumford, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Stanley H. Jewell, pastor of the Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Berry was a stable boss in Barton. He was kicked by a mule in the stable on Sunday. His lungs were punctured. Besides his wife, the following children survive: William Berry of Lonaconing, Edward and Harry Berry of Barton, Mrs. Anna Whiteford of Baltimore; Mrs. Iiam Dohme of Lonaconing, and Joseph and Helen Berry at home.
