- AVON LAKE -- Mrs. Susan A. Horwedel, 77, of 639 Center Rd., died yesterday at her home after a brief illness.
Mrs. Horwedel was a life-long resident of Avon Lake. She was a member of St. Mary's church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include her husband, Fred G.; three daughters, Mrs. Hildred Karmen, of Avon, Mrs. Elizabeth Rockstroh of Cleveland, and Mrs. Vilma Klingshirn of Avon; a son, Lester of Avon Lake; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10am in St. Mary's church, Avon. Friends may call at the Burmeister Funeral Home today and tomorrow from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The Altar and Rosary Society will recite the rosary Sunday at 3pm in the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
